The Smart Experience

How does it work?

Smart Financial Planning believes regular client contact is essential for achieving results and has a very specific approach. Every client has different goals and therefore for each client a bespoke plan is created. This covers:

  • Where the client is now
  • What the client’s future needs may be
  • What actions need to be taken to achieve the client’s goals

New clients

When clients join, Smart has a six stage process to get things started; (hover above each stage to see what is involved)

Initial Meeting – Clients talk about what they need and Smart Financial Planning outlines its services and whether it can assist the client. This meeting is at the cost of Smart Financial Planning
Review meeting – this allows us to look at changing circumstances, new needs and aspirations and review the activities of the last year. Discovery Meeting - having agreed that Smart Financial Planning will work with them, clients are asked to share their personal and financial information so a bespoke plan of action can be created.
45 day review meeting - after the paperwork has been completed clients receive provider communication. We meet to help sift through it and reassure clients where the plan is up to and what, if any, actions are still pending. Plan Meeting – with the plan created to match client goals, a meeting takes place to discuss how it will be achieved.
Implementation Meeting - After considering the recommendations, we meet with clients to complete the paperwork to put their plans into action. There is no obligation on clients to implement our strategy but we find most do.
